It’s all about power then
Take control
Breaking the rule
Breaking the soul
Take control
Breaking the rule
Breaking the soul
Keira yawned as she entered the common room. She looked about her in distaste. Sure the stone had been intricately carved and there were clean leather couches but there were no windows to look out of. There was no heat except for the fireplace in the corner and all the lights were an eery green. She'd shared this common room for six years but every early morning was different now. It seemed cold and unwelcoming to Keira. Perhaps it was because she awoke from a nightmare about her mother. Or perhaps she was just growing up and had always seen it as a happy place because her friends were there. Now most of her friends had graduated and next year she would too. It was lonelier now and the empty common room didn't help her feeling this way.
It was still early morning and most of the students would still be asleep. The blonde haired girl had just woken up so her hair was straight except for a few tufts that flew in odd directions. She wore a lacy green nightgown and over it she had a black silk robe that was left open. She didn't even look like her normal pristine self. If someone were to walk in on her they might not even recognize her at first. She didn't wear any slippers so her bare feet were freezing due to the cold floor. She sat down into the leather couch and pulled her legs up so that her chin was resting on her knees. The fire flickered as she stared straight into it for it was across from her couch. Her blue eyes danced with the flames and she became entranced.
She wasn't aware of anyone else entering the room as she stared into the fire and let her mind wander. Some could say this was a form of sleeping with one's eyes closed but for Keira it was more of a meditation. The blonde girl wondered how she was going to be able to find someone who's parents were death eaters. One simply didn't walk around the school bragging about that sort of thing. It would also look suspicious if she just started asking her fellow classmates if they knew any death eaters. The girl was in a weird position and instead of running away from anything to do with the Dark Lord she was just asking for trouble... Literally.
Keira began to list off the ones she knew were Death Eaters' children for sure. Crabbe, Goyle, and Malfoy. She'd never really talked to these three before. Mostly because the former two just never seemed that intelligent. She'd been paired up with them in potions class before and they just let her do the work while they goofed off. She really didn't have much reason to talk to other Slytherins before because most of her friends were two years older. She just got along better with the older crowd. Especially after her first fight with Pansy Parkinson in their first year. That was a mess! Now... Malfoy was a different story. She knew about him from reputation but both Malfoy and Keira were surrounded by their own followers/admirers all the time. They mostly hung out in different groups and had never really talked.
The girl really couldn't think of anyone else in Slytherin that could help her. She let out a huff and mumbled, "This is frustrating..."
