Deceived by Hermione, Ginny and her older friend ventured into the library on that day after Ginny finished her Potions class. She was unaware that Hermione secretly had plans for Ginny to work on her upcoming paper due the following week. Of course Ginny had urged Hermione she would do it later on, perhaps that weekend, but her studious friend decided to trick Ginny into doing it that day. As the pair turned into the library, Ginny groaned as a persistant Hermione dragged her the rest of the way. Ginny sighed, tottering behind Hermione like a sulking child as Hermione grabbed a few books on Ginny's subject. She was grateful, really, that she had a friend like Hermione who cared so much about her schoolwork. On the other hand, Ginny was stubborn and didn't feel like doing homework at all. In fact, Dean mentioned meeting her by the Black Lake later that day which, in her opinion, was much more important than writing about the importance of Muggle technological advances in the twentieth century. "And why did I take Muggle Studies again?" she asked, raising her eyebrow and then ignoring Hermione's dramatic response about how truly interesting it was.
Ginny sat at a table with Hermione and got started, listening to the sounds of quills on parchment from other students at their table. In fact, it seemed that many students were in the library getting started on papers and such. There was only room for her and Hermione to sit next to each other, and no free space at any other tables. When Hermione noted she had to run to grab a book she loaned to Professor Flitwick, Ginny sighed and kept at it, ensuring Hermione she would, in fact, stay and finish the paper. She already started on it at that point, so she might as well finish it and get it over with. The good part about it was that it meant she had the entire weekend to do whatever she wanted, and hopefully Dean did, too.
After a few hours, Ginny finally finished up her paper, put away the books, and then went to leave the library. As she opened the door and walked out into the fourth floor corridor, she was nearly run over. Her parchment flew out of her hand and she fell backward. Ginny caught herself against the walls, though her wrists found pain after having landed on them so forcefully. "Watch it!" she said angrily, looking up quickly and then biting the inside of her cheek.
"Malfoy."

Words: 400 || Tag: ɢɪɴɴʏ ᴡᴇᴀsʟᴇʏ ϟ || Outfit: NONE Draco was certainly not in an audacious mood to see what Crabbe and Goyle have in plan to do to the Hufflepuff kids in the courtyard. The young Slytherin was dressed in a black suit attire, one which was given to him by his father. His hair was straightened and his striking grey eyes pierced through his eyelids. He, himself was studying for a test for Defense Against the Dark Arts, one which was taught by Professor Severus Snape, the head teacher of the Slytherin house. Draco, in a way was miffed with the fact that Snape swore to keep him safe. Safe? I can take care of myself! I don't need! i'm powerful enough to do what I wish! Except for the Dark Lord, the one who threatens the safety of Draco's family, who he cares most about. Especially his bigoted father.
The young Slytherin walked through the halls, his footsteps loud and clear for all to hear within t he empty halls, which is quite surprising since the school is always bustling with students of different ages and houses. His eyes wandered tot he left where he looked at the paintings he passed by, how they moved with magic, made things always fascinating. Even though Draco grew up with the knowledge of having magical abilities, it would always amaze Draco how all magic is there and the blood traitors would think it a fantasy sort of thing. Never once have Draco stepped out of the realm of wizardry and he doesn't intend to either! The comforts of the school and his own home is good enough. Exploring the blood traitor's area does not fancy him at all.
Draco was lost in his own thoughts when he felt someone bump into him, he was quickly taken back by someone brushing aside him. He was annoyed, everyone knew well to stay clear of the young Malfoy child. When he looked down, he saw the flashing of red hair, he knew quite well it was a Weasley child. They always made his blood boil, such a waste of magic and space in the school. When he saw the papers fall to the ground gracefully, his striking grey eyes looked over at Ginerva, or Ginny as she was known as. Her tongue was sharp as always. When she somewhat hissed his surname, he smirked. "Weasley," he hissed back. "Watch where you're going."

Ginny didn't feel so intimidated by Malfoy as others did. In fact, she thought the smirk he constantly had glued to his face was rather pathetic. Even now as he stood over her, it was as though he thought the entire situation was funny when, in fact, it was anything but. His rude demeanor put her off and his so-called superiority he felt he had over half-bloods and muggle-borns was ignorant. Ginny might have been a Pureblood herself, but she definitely didn't stalk about like most of the Slytherins. Ginny didn't understand the mindset behind Purebloods being better than anything else - they were all practically the same. The prime example she could think of was Hermione; the girl who Ginny called one of her best friends was someone who could cast spells better than any dim-wit in Slytherin. Maybe Draco liked to ignore the fact that some muggle-borns were better than his mates, but she was surely going to put it in front of his face if it ever came up again. The mere knowledge that he called Hermione a Mud...well, the M word... made Ginny's blood boil.
"Or what? Your father will hear about this?" Ginny asked with a raised brow, grinning. Her imitations were notably a strong skill and she figured she sounded nearly like the blond-haired prat who stood above her. Maybe she shouldn't have taunted him, but she was already annoyed with having spent hours on a subject she hated. That, paired with the fact that Draco and his entire family hated her family since the beginning of time, made Ginny even more irritable. She was sure that Ron, Fred and George would have wet themselves if they were there to witness the back-and-forth that was ensuing in the fourth floor corridor.
She tossed her red hair over her shoulder and looked up at him with a smirk, challenging him to try something. Ginny didn't care that Harry thought Draco was involved with the Death Eaters now (something she picked up from Hermione during their conversations.) In fact, she didn't care how powerful Draco thought he was at all. His perspective of himself as some almighty wizard was ill-fitting and not becoming of him at all. Ginny was one to forgive people, sure, but after all Draco has said and done toward her family and friends, she didn't think there was anything that would ever convince her he was a good person. There wasn't anything good about him.
